ADAM'S CASTAWAY CRAB COB LOAF

INGREDIENTS

  • Cob Loaf

  • 200g Grated Tasty Cheese

  • 100g Grated Mozzarella Cheese

  • x1 Spring Onion

  • x1 Onion (peeled)

  • x2 Garlic Cloves

  • 20g Olive Oil

  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • x1 Large cooked Mud Crab (meat only)

  • 250g softened & chopped Cream Cheese

  • 250g Sour Cream

  • x1 Chicken Stock Cube

  • x1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh Chives

  • x1 Bread Stick


METHOD

  1. Pre-heat oven to 150c.

  2. Slice off top of cob loaf & keep for later. Remove the soft bread from inside the cob shell. Break up to use for dipping later.

  3. Mix cream cheese & sour cream together in a large bowl until smooth & combined. Stir in cooked crab meat, onion & sweet chilli sauce.

  4. Spoon the mixture into the hollowed out cob shell. Add the cob top & wrap in foil.

  5. Place on a baking tray & bake at 150c for 1&1/4 to 1&1/2 hours.

  6. Unwrap foil & bake for a further 5 mins at 190c (to crispen the top).

  7. Serve with soft or toasted bread to dip & well as sliced bread stick pieces.
